Alone

December 27, 2017

I listen to those around me and cannot focus

hearing their voices fading away

The constant droning like a field of locust

make me lay hear and just pray

I feel apart like a stranger

looking upon them as if we never met

Feeling a sense of iminent danger

not knowing if my time here is set

I am alone this each and every day

watching the world just pass me by

Feeling I was made by an artist of clay

looking for the place where I may lie
