Alcohol

February 6, 2014

This may be strange,

you may call me all the drunken slurrs you want,

but I want this with all my heart.

I have a desire to create happy memories,

in any way I can.

The euphoria that is reached when celebrating with friends and colleauges,

is like a drug I can't get enough of.

It makes me soar above the bottles and breathe the oak from the barrels.

I want to be there from beginning to end.  I'll pick my grain, my raw sugar, lovingly pluck the plumpest grape from the vines. carefully find the crispest spring water.

I want to smell the alcohol through casks and fermentation barrles.

I live for the first draw of whiskey, the first bottle of the finest winter red.

You may call this strange.  But to me,

It's life.  It's love.  It's passion and desire and unadulterated lust for success.
