Remember

April 7, 2013
Do you remember life before the bottle and the fist became your life? Do you remember when you use to smile more than once in a while. Life before was so much better Now I lay face down again because you want to escape the pain. The pain from the war years before. Do you remember when you knew how to handle the pain? You drink it away. Another bottle and another and another. Yet you can't escape the pain. It haunts you still. Will you stop running soon? Will you go back to living a life rather than running form it ? Will you remember your wife, who loves you but can't take your life with the bottle and the fist?
