Scrambled Eggs

July 10, 2013

So fragile is my shell

I feel empty

yet when cracked, i will run

The thoughts race through my brain

Am i sane

that question

Am i sane

follows me through the dark

If i could only unscramble the words

the memories

the days

the hours

the minutes

those last few seconds of my life thus far

If i could gather those thoughts

backwards

forwards

and backwards again

mixing like scrambled eggs

dropped from the hand

put the pieces back together

Wait, let me go grab a pen.
