Him, His, but Never Hers

January 20, 2017

Gnawing through my skin,

I see the hurt you have been.

Changing the tides till they bear no more

Over the shallow white bay, my melting shore.

The lips that sail through  my very waves,

Scatters like the stardust destined to be lost for days.

A taint smell lingers deeply with in me.

Where can you go without the sight of seeing me near him.

Your laugh says roses but thorns lie quietly underneath the head

Teeth chortle green envy blue.

Having gone till the hills where no one stays,

Sweet wine glistens the pink shore that lays upon my hand.

With myself coated red, I know where each step will eventually land.

The lost of your touch is a snipped thread but my eyes cast the other way, not ashamed.

Loving yourself is hard to be for someone that loves to throw down my precious leaves.

Darklings hatch to avail a parade as the singer carries his dark sickle.

My people would watch the escapade while his bones scratch the evening sun.

To declare the souls that had been raped weary to fit in their own size.

One day my branch will break into pieces of silver and gold,

Too greedy to spend them from all those years .

Soon to be raked, for the winter comes earlier this moon.

My skies bend to touch the winds you dearly missed

White roots stretch to fall in place where your dreadful step just stopped.

A precious crack in my marble face forms a tear that will never be erased.
