The Devil Within

July 24, 2017

A swirling black mist crept in the room

filling the space in moments

proding and searching for vulnerabilities

unseeing sat a girl on a bed

up it crept, climbing to her

stroking, crawling, ghosting up her leg

twisting around her body to reach her head

curling through her hair in tendrils

whispering, touching, telling

unknowing her body becomes coated in black

seeping into her as she listens

suddenly it grows sluggish and heavy, lazy, waiting

with a sigh her head falls back in surrender

like a fist it grabs hold, pulling tight, taught

In pain she screams

what exits her mout is a moan of ecstasy

the mist pours inside

hazel eyes turn black

as one, the girl, and the daemon give a feral smile and laugh
