Fear

December 7, 2016
I have yet to see you Yet I feel so close I have yet to touch you Yet I can feel your warmth   Every time we talk I smile I'm happiest when you're around Every moment you're gone Is a moment I spend thinking about you   If you were to leave my life I would chase after you Running forever and ever Just trying to catch you   I can't accept you being the one that got away I would be filled with regret A swirl of emotions would occur The result would be a loss of control   I have never felt like this before And that scares me This feeling I can't name Anxiety, fear, jealousy, Confidence, peace, joy   It's like every emotion in one But what I fear the most Is the thought that I might screw this up And the result might be me missing my chance And I might just lose my opportunity with you
