The Sun

April 9, 2013

Many years and tears ago,
When the World had scarce Begun,
There was a Warrior, Fierce and Brave,
Whose Name was Sun-Li-Sun.

He Slayed Ten-thousand Devils,
And another thousand gods.
And the Mountains Quaked and the Heavens shaked,
In fear, for they were Awed.

And Though He aged,
And his beard grew in length,
And he lived in a Village,
A hermit, Fishing at the bank,
His Spirit was Fiery, Fierce, and Fast,
And in his Eyes, would sometimes Rise,
The Fires of his past.

So when he died,
The whole Earth cried,
For he was revived,
And taken to the Sky.

And now, with a fiery gaze,
And a fearsome blaze,
He watches over all our days,

And the Mountains still quake,
And the Heavens shake,
At the Power of Sun-Li-Sun!
