Searching...

November 1, 2014

I am a lonely face

searching a heart to rest in

Yearn for a warm embrace

Soft and gentle skin

To protect and nurture

Help that being grow

I will search for her

Till the day I know

She no longer needs me

I will let her go

Watch her run free

Then i will show

A soft throbbing pain

for what have i gained

To watch her go away

Keep her from being chained

My injured crystal dove

Fallen from this tall tree

My angel from above

Unable to flee

I nurtured you till you grew

I nurtured you till you flew

That moment i finally knew

That i did truly love you

Letting you go was hard

But needed to be done

You caught me off guard

When we became one

Come back to me

Only if you truly care

For i am always waiting

I am always there
