So much depends upon
The childs cries
His silent aches
A mothers anguish
Silence
Complete silence
Why is there such silence?
A mothers soul breaking cries
As the child lies still
Still as stone
His cries forever muffled
Cries never to be heard again
Yet always to be rememberdd
In the mothers heart,
The cries are heard
In her eyes,
The pain is seen
The childs sorrow is forever gone
As she takes her last breath
