Rubberbands

April 21, 2014

You smashed me to pieces

Like glass onth floor

When I pick up the mess

I wish it wouldn't hurt anymore.

But I cut up my hands

And you cut up my heart

It feels like tight rubberbands

Keep me from falling apart.

But tomorrow's a new day

A fresh start

A clean slate

I'll wake up with a fresh heart

No rubberbands,

I wont fall apart.

You lost your control

You lost your respect

I'm finally whole

What did you expect?
