Emptyness

June 20, 2016

I sink to the bottom

The pool's clear as air

So calm and relaxing

And I haven't a care

The water surrounds me

The coolness delights

My heart won't stop pounding

But I'm loving the sights

Of cool blue

Wrapping around me

Almost floating in air

The bubbles, they rise free

As if gravity's not there

The taste of chlorine

Bites at my tongue

And seems to remind me

Of when I was young

Sun shining through

Light scatters, it's true

The water is heaven

And my clear pool is blue

And if you would dare join me

This peace could fill you
