Forever's Song

September 10, 2014

The silent notes float in the breeze

from so far, for so long.

They rustle through the ancient trees

they are Forever's Song.

As I stare out at the setting sun,

over the scarlet sea.

I think I hear a single note, just one

and I know it was only for me.

If you listen closely, you will hear

I have been waiting so long.

These are the notes I hold so dear-

the silent whispers of Forever's Song.
