If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

I'm a very creative person and im on my way to becoming a professional photographer. I usually don't know how to express myself so i would become anti-social or push people away when they try to reach out. I write poetry only when i can't express my words so i write them down and share them with a few friends. One teacher i have shown a poem to a couple years ago uses it in his classes and gets other teachers to read it. Since then i've been encouraged to be the best and work my way towards happiness and letting others hear my words.
