Hungry

September 21, 2019

Hungry.

Food for thought.

Your love will follow reading,

feeding me.

Scripture in a wasteland.

Flooding the cracked earth,

creating rushing rivers.

Your word is a pathway

through the wilderness.

The light around the bend,

shedding itself on truth, innate.

Like a child spinning in circles,

I'm seeing the same old thing

over and over again,

losing focus,

feeling sick.

Just as dark surely follows twilight,

Your love has unfolded and breathed into me;

new life.
