Participant Trophy

September 6, 2014

To be heard

The single prize

The single trait

The single thing we all deserve

Yet while first prize is given

Many aren't winning

And tryouts are based solely on words

But words can never be the judge

Of the ones left over

For how do you judge

Without giving closure

On a future that will never begin

So their lives become blurred

With all the wrong visions

Assumptions preferred

As reality is stringent

A trust fall

That you can't catch

A single request

Keep your distance

And when they are gone

You finally listen
