Masked Within

March 9, 2022

Oh hypocrisy,

The devil's pride

Concieved by the power of deceit

Born of venom beaks.

Dwelling among the hooligans

With affection and admiration,

She stands gazing angelically at me.

No sooner had I turned my back

Flying daggers hit me balck and blue,

Before I can move my finger,

She flies on her toes

With unending streams of feining tears

Indeed, I can boldly say

"The devil is proud of you"

You then carry yourself around majestically

With the "booty" frolicing east and west,

Speaking blissfully from the nose

Thinking you're cool unfortunately,

A fool is what you see in the mirror

Oh! the womb you are from wailed in vanity.
