If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since September 2017

Aspire to inspire before I expire. Poetry has moved me since my early teenage years as I would even sit in class writing poetry tuning everyone out. I was bullied pretty much all throughout high school & that’s when I really began writing out my struggles, my feelings, & my pain. My inspiration comes from everyday life. This is my peace. This is my expression. This is my diary.

Crazy

March 23, 2018

Crazy how you’d give a nigga yo last

Take a bullet for his ass but he’d be quick to put you in his past

Questioning your loyalty like why you even gotta ask?

Crazy how they’ll be quick to call you crazy & say you were never loyal

When you’d get down on your knees like a peasant & treated them like they were royal

Crazy how they forget all the good deeds you’ve done for them but remember the bad

Had to broadcast my pain put in a newspaper ad

Crazy how they can make you feel so high then make you feel so low

Actions speak louder than words & the hate you give is beginning to show

Paint a picture for em they still couldn’t see my pain

Mental terrorism got stress on my brain

I deserve a peace of mind & heart

Everybody wants to feel like they’re sane
