Oaks

September 30, 2016

We are grand Oaks.

Rooted by our struggles.

And we may feel dead,

surrounded by the cold and harsh reality.

Don’t worry we are just waiting to blossom again.

And when we are the most colorful,

that doesn’t mean we will stay this way,

it means that soon we’ll need to rest again.

And when our branches hang low,

that just means we are reaching down,

So we can pick you up.

And show you the view from the top.

Show you the beauty of this grand forest.

Show you what it looks like to be among us.
