WRONG PROMISES

March 12, 2015

You said you wanted this,

It has been four months since we started going out,

now you saying you don't have time for us,

that it was never mean't to be.

You were the one who got me into it,

and i guess you were the first out,

now am left wandering in the broken city,

my heart healing from the wounds you caused.

I try to forget all the good memories we had,

but i cant since i had fallen for you since day one,

like the seeds planted in a fertile land,

my love for you grew stronger day after day.

Well now its four months later,

You have already given up on me,

No more late night calling and texting,

It's just nights full with tears and nightmares.

I told myself i will get through it all,

and now am gaining my strength back,

am freshly planted with love in me,

and i have decided to have fun.
