Mine

February 17, 2015

An eased fellow, also a narrow and tapered spear point

A gentle warrior who

May one day kill with the same hands

That now hold me close

The hands that held a bloody wound

May  someday carry a joyful wife

What fate has stored, written in her

Tomes, woven on her loom,

For two or one?

My lighthearted knight,

Will you one day return with

Mind of glass and heart of stone?

But you hold me now, as I lean to

Your broad chest and sigh.

For this stolen moment you are

Forever mine.
