Split Personality

July 24, 2015

A heart full of Anger and Lust

Pain and Sorrow

Eyes that say Hope and joy

A mouth that smiles

But deep within wants to scream

A split personality

Trusting when it isn't worth it

Wanting the truth

But could never give it yourself

Can you truly love someone

But still hate them at the same time

People love you

They say your forgiving

That you care for everyone

And you wonder if thats a bad thing

They use your kindness

knowing you’ll end up forgiving

They take advantage of it

When they don’t deserve it

Wanting to scream

Wanting to be the other me

Mean and coldhearted

But thats just not the full me

I  care

and I don’t

I love

and I don’t

A split personality

Thats me

But I could never show the other half of me

I want the other half of me to be gone

But it can’t

Not after what I have seen

Not after my history

I kill people with kindness

And don’t let them affect me

I’ve seen the ugly in people

The ugly in this world

And hate won’t solve anything

Thats why I could never show the other me

Yes, because I want peace

Yes, inside of me is a bit of mean

I still forgive

Just so there is a bit of peace but

Be careful with who you hurt

Because you never know

About their split personality
