When the hangman gets his way and he tells you not to pray That there's nothing left to say Guilty, guilty Those words take place of your name As if nothing else matters You couldn't resolve it you tried Screaming you don't believe in anything And the ocean holds your weight But it sends you with its waves To the deepest grave you'd die for And no one's ever quite sure What the truest stories were And they'll never know your side
