If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

2 poems·Since September 2014

Hey there..I am just an amature chef, aspiring musician, college student and navy militia writing as a past time because I know there is so much that goes on in the world, and knowing that if one voice speaks on whatever it maybe..than I have made a difference. Believe me knowing me I'm a pretty nice guy..I play guitar in a solo act, cook as a passion and make music out of most of my lyrics are centered around my own personal experiences, aspirations, fears, relationships even politics. Plus the people who in music who have inspired me so most play a bigger part of who I am as a poet. I used to be a blinded naive child but as a man, now I write on all the knowledge I have/have yet to obtain and still learn to love as I progress through my coming of age...:) Get to know me, spread the love. -Quest

5 o'clock Shadow & the Welcome Wagon

September 1, 2014

Crystalize the memory & synchronize your chemical scheme, as the city underground travels through the blood stream

..of the young, the rich the old and poor..and the faces of the familiar across the crooked corridoors.

Strangers admist a crowded perception leaves my wisdom drawn blank

Now I'm left shell shocked from an outsiders obsession, her shackles leave me high running on blind faith.

Others they say vanilla skys leave days on repeat, so conquer each day and shy away from defeat.

Why hyrogliphs foreshadow the coming of age....turn away and know youre future days arent staged.

Believe me when the shit hits the fan its like casting a stone

The butterfly effect shifts ripples for miles, so brace for impact and protect the child.

Travel out &see ghost from past days, know bridges never burn they only fade into the grey.

Wish it was harder to make new ties,

But to my surprise, these loose lips sink onto those of my favor.

When the sun goes down life gets alittle bolder, Hipsters, lazerquets, nightlife, & jokesters.

The scene of the super charged air leaves her tired and frail.

While she sleeps in her shadows arms, he takes her back to the hotel.

Taxis & thai food makes the night burn clean while staring in her eyes thinking of blue dreams.
