This is a poem to explain how much you mean to me
You are soon going to be so wild and free
I love you so much, and soon you will know
Exactly what it’s like to begin to grow
Even more than you already have
I can’t wait to give you your first bath
And I really want to, but I just can’t
Even describe the words I feel about being your dad
You are so big inside Mama’s womb
I know you want out, or at least want some room
But hey, I don’t blame you, you’re growing so fast
I still can’t believe you’re already almost at the last
Month inside Mama, it really makes me wanna cry
Tears of joy, thanking the Lord of the sky
That I can now begin to realize
That you are already an angel in disguise
You will be so delicate, when you are born
And I will only grow to love you even more
You are one of the most important things to me
And once again, you will be free
In about two and a half months, you will be here
And then you will have your father near
One thing I really want you to know,
Is that I love you so much fosho
Babies are one of the greatest things in life
And just so you know, there will be tough times
Life isn’t always easy, but nothing really is
Being in this situation, nor is raising a kid
There are things you will always have
But not enough to make you a spoiled brat
The necessary things; food, water, clothes, and shelter
You are the teacher, and I am the helper
I am going to learn a lot from you, and also you from me
I am so happy to have you as my QB,
In training, or so Mommy says
I can’t wait to drive you to meet your princess
You’ll probably think ‘til twelve, “all girls have coodies”
And you’re going to learn all of the men’s duties
That Daddy never did, until he met Mama
That’s alright though, you’ll have a better persona
Of those kind of things, because of Daddy and Mom
But Mama’s a lot better at those things, because Mama’s the bomb.
