Finally Beautiful

April 2, 2019

It is school time as you hear your alarm chime

you get up to end the awful noise

and you stand with much poise

you stand in front of the mirror and put makeup on

" the bus is here" yells Milly your mom

you get to school and off the bus

you head to class away from the stress and fuss

you see that girl from 2nd hour she looks you up and down said says she needs

a shower

you ingnore her as you walzts down the hall

but still wonder why she always stands so tall

why does she always pick on me what does she not think i'm pretty

as the days went on I really began to wonder why is makeup what makes me pretty?

Is it always up to " those girls" the ones that seem perfect

Skinny and slim

hair done and did

degisner clothes that you know they dont own

or does the fact that YOU think your hair looks great and that fact you cant debate

or is it that fact that your acne is bomb and theres nothing wrong

or the fact that, some girl from the 8th grade certainly can't tell you what beauty is, it

is found within yourself
