We all wish to be more than we are. all destined to partake in something more. Faith in the fact that there is a path. long and winding but worth the troubles. Gray days seem to be frequent in a place like this. Free to roam but not to wonder. I see hope in his eyes, similiar to that of a small child. It brings a smile to my face. Dusty and weak from in use. Afraid of what we can't see. Afraid of what we can't touch. Peel back the plastic covering my eyes So i may see the beauty I've been too nieve to discover. Holding onto the last step. Clinging to ever last belief. Take me into your arms And sheild me from the worst. Unanswered questions. Shortly lived. Never knowing what could have been. High expectaions of what will be.
