Why must we be pushed into a corner?

Categorized because we write.

Why should I allow another writer's words to reflect my own?

Yes, I use my words to express myself.

That's what words are for.

But what makes my words different from the rest?

My thoughts are vivid images

Flashing through my head.

I grasp those, not too deep,

But just within my reach,

Translating them from visual works of art

To beautiful poetry.

So yes, I write to express myself.

But not like all the others.

I take those vivid images most would consider thoughts

And I repaint them as bold calligraphy,

carefully translated into an easily understood summary

Of what truly goes on in my head
