The Power of Perception

August 23, 2017

*sirens going off*
So I surrender, I raise this white flag
Because I do have a right to be black
I put my hands in the air to be free
But can I truly be free if its only color that you see
Beyond these chocolate women and men
are souls that you should recognize again
Do not be afraid of the greatness
our ancestors engraved in our vains
Our blood is rich and pure
You cannot break us
We shall prosper from this oppression
For we were and always will be decendents from kings and queens
We are all people

All kinds

All beautiful

All mixed

This is the right time for all of us to shine

So be kind and be genuine stop being so blind.
