Dear Self

May 31, 2013
Dear Self— I don't feel like you today. Seems as though the people I call my friends Have found yet another way to bring me down. I don't feel like you today. I'm wondering and pondering On what my mind is trying to tell us. I don't feel like you today. I find some reason to feel depressed and unhappy For whatever reason I'm not sure I don't feel like you today. You're so mellow and calm Nothing disrupts your flow Or your rhythm I don't feel like you today. Why don't you talk And share your secrets Your secrets to happiness? I don't feel like you today. Have you ever experience Such pain and regret Or am I overreacting? Dear Self—
