Say it

June 27, 2015

I'm tongue tied yeah I don't know how to put this

I've been through so much, no sound comes up, zip

I've got battle scars, bruises, wounds that won't heal

But I guess it all started with that first tear

My poker face is strong I can fool anyone

Well except myself

People say frogive and forget, but do we ever really forget?

I'm well past forgiving I'm over that crap

Forgetting, thats a whole other story

My battles have shaped me, made me who I am

I want to talk and I've tried to speak my mind

I back down when it's my turn to spill

I plan in my head play by play

but for some reason my mind goes blank when it's time

I've bottled up my thoughts, put them on a page

after everyone says that the worlds a stage

I'm ready, my mind is screaming

Say it, Say it, Say it
