High Tide

January 7, 2019

This part of the beach

but a split second in the ocean of time

waves rolling, minutes, days by

yet the answer to my prayers are lost in its blue

enfolded by tranquillity

the day I patiently await when the time will be right

dare I not yet question or silently succumb

to the tide of emotions that ebb over me

for these are forever

vast as the sea

these are forever

simply just me.
