Impulse

March 18, 2014
Darkness floods the corridor,  Whispers echo and bump around my skull, I stand in the empty house, Holding my own hand, For fear of losing my other, I close my eyes, And drift away, I don't go to a happy place, I get lost in swirls or my pain, The agony, The pouring rain, The shadows swirl, I see myself, From others view, I will not succumb, To this despair swirling around, In the foggy air, I will find my way, And make it through, Though I'll be,  Broken and Bruised.
