A Testimonial Of Strength

November 12, 2014

I force myself to the brink

Because I recognize, if I cease, I will surely sink

Each drop of sweat

Lives a testimonial to me, that

Displays I am a fighter

And establishes I am a survivor

You will not claim a tear out of me

It is how I've instilled myself to be

Each and every step I run

Does not label a difference because I remain under my own gun

I will never quit

This mind is set on being fit

I will reach my goal

And when I do, prepare to feel my pain, ten fold
