Candy

January 21, 2018
The enticing scent fills my nose, The bright colors pique my interest. Smells sweet, yet sour, and oddly addicting. It fills me with energy as I laugh and jump. More, more, more. It's never enough. But as long as I don't run out, One sweet, another sour, It fills the emptiness I feel in my chest. What was I doing? Thinking? Was it important? Was it good? Was it bad? Harmful? It doesn't matter. My thoughts swirl in a whirlpool of excitement and adrenaline fills my veins. More, more, more, Until my mind can't take anymore. It won't even matter if I die.
