Ronesha Butler

If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

2 poems·Since February 2015

I am currently in an academic program, Upward Bound. I am on the North Little Rock Dance Team, I'm in Theatre Dance IV, I am also on Dance Troupe.Twice every six months I donate clothes to the Goodwill and Savers. I have also painted doors for Habitat for Humanity. This is an organization that donates and builds houses for people who are not able to buy a house. During thanksgiving, I help donate food to people who are not able to pay for a thanksgiving meal and take them boxes of food. While I was in seventh and eighth grade, I participated in volleyball, basketball, track and field, drill team, and cheer squad. I also received an award for having a 3.78 grade point average.

Devastating Factoid

February 3, 2015

If I feel like you don't love me

You should know that is a problem

Understand what I'm saying

And maybe you can solve it

I would bust out my shell

And tell you what I think

But I'm not wasting my breath

Because you'll be gone in a blink

Wishing I was gone away

Away from all of you

Drama, drama, and more drama

That you keep with what's due

Wishing I had a wish

But I know I'm all out

Trusting the unknown

Loving without a doubt

My insides are raw

Tugging at my soul

Wishing that you loved me

Without  a heart so cold

Pain strikes me

With its powerful blows

Knocking me out

Making me feel so low

I don't want to feel this

This is something I should void

But it will never go away

And that's a devastating factiod
