If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

5 poems·Since February 2016

I am an 18 year old college student studying English with an emphasis on Creative Writing and Asian Literature. I started writing poetry when I was 15 in high school and my American Literature teacher made it an assignment. The whole class was scared to read their work after I read mine. That's when I knew I should continue to pursue poetry as an art form. I love many other forms of writing, of course, especially suspense and mystery. I like to listen to sad music until I fall asleep at night. My mom writes fan fiction and I edit it. My cat and my roommate are my main influences. Please comment on my poetry! I love getting feedback of any kind, including the negative!
