If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

7 poems·Since February 2014

I laugh every time I see a box like this where you write facts and thing about yourself because I have no idea how to do this, its quite sad. Im really no on special, just another person looking for words to escape being forever speechless Im addicted to coffee, we have a special relationship along with my bed. Its a very intriguing love triangle Im very quiet when you first meet me yet my levels of randomness and my overwhelmingly loud and annoying nature tends to unravel when Im comfortable I hate the chimes of clocks and the little tic tic sound, it drives me absolutely bonkers, I hate the sound silence that awful, persistent buzzing sound, I hate the sound of men's voices when they are angry I hope I really get caught up in this website, I can't wait to meet new, lovely people. Peace, love, happiness, and words my friends :3

Upon Time & Flight

November 17, 2014
Once upon a world, when we smiled with our eyes, and laughed with our belliesbefore the hands of the clock were worn with age, before the bells stopped chiming, before the batteries ran out.
Time, the thief who stoleour mother’s everlasting compassion, our father’s undying love. The crook who tookher from him,him from her.
The pickpocketwho left us all alone, searching through the pouchesof our empty lives, stumbling drunkenlythrough dark days, and watched us finally drownright before the clock of light.
We held on to memorywith stacks of yellowed,water-damaged journals. We had frantically scribbled our legacy inbefore blowing out candle after candle for years.
We gripped onto emotions, with the music of star-crossed lovers, and true love’s kiss. The ones we imitated in vain.
Time, the teacherwho suddenly pushed me off the edge of a cliff, when I was too afraid to fly.
