Need sleep

September 21, 2016
lack of sleep The ignorance of one Runs in ruins in my veins Wants to sucker punch For I was not given the same opportunity As I wake daily I lose interest of what is in sight Who am I here trying to outdo me or you I have had enough However, I will never give up Just in a funk of all my insecurities Lack of sleep and patience are in twined In hopes that tonight I get a good night’s sleep How can I sleep if I see the things I wish I didn’t see? For all I know I see glimpse of my own death Just the thought has me I need to fall asleep in a lover’s dream a Perhaps that’s all I need The lack of love and support has me thinking Am I even a somebody
