Fly

May 30, 2014

These days I feel so lonely,

Running from the things I fear, from the things I love.

I'm building a prison for myself,

to hide even though it exposes my greatest fears

This prison has no doorway, but only an open roof.

This prison was made for me to see, to fly

So now I fly, to the evening sky.

Away from the past ,

and the awful mask

That donned my soul in the cell.

Yet these days I still feel lonely.
