A way of life
June 11, 2013
As sea creatures swim against the current
to head to breeding grounds.
As birds dive toward the ground at overwhelming speeds before flipping over to sail through the skies.
As gazelle rush off into the safety of the brush, they escape the clutches of the predators that follow them, desperate to quell their aching stomachs.
As dozens of students lay sprawled out in various places awaiting on procrastination to be their savior, their counterparts are diligently revising their works with careful consideration.
As water is the life force to all, the expanding depth of knowledge remains the holy grail to some, the experience of one's life is prized above all else. The movements depicting a lost tale are revered, the ink splotched words remain as a light to the rest.
To answer one question is to ask another, the word 'why' is simply complex. Why does the world's inhabitants do what they do may sprout an endless number of answers.
Writing is a way of life as acting is to someone else. A hard working student may say that studying is like the breathe that enters past their lips. An athlete who trains may say it is a way for them to relax.
For all it is a way for their individual beings to grow and thrive. They can be themselves without the masks they wear throughout the day. With their fellow comrades by their sides they can continue their way of life.
