To the Seniors

November 30, 2014

I am more than an SAT score
I am more than a face in the yearbook.
I am more than coffee-filled nights.
I am more than an application
waiting in a folder.
I am more than a poor student
begging for money.
I am more than a resume
says I am.

I am an unfinished story.
I am an impending success.
I am four years of hope.
I am a new soul,
carrying out a meticulous plan.
I am stress,
I am peace,
I am joy,
I am sadness,
I am wrath,
and
I am the change
we so desperately need.
