If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

My family immigrated from Russia to the U.S. in 2005. I know both English and Russian and I'm also currently studying German in school. My plan for university is to initially get a Bachelor's Degree, work in my profession, and then go back to get a Master's. I know some Turkish and I want to learn it fluently as well as German. I want to pursue a career that will satisfy my interests in both psychology/sociology as well as languages and law. That reasoning led me to want to study something like international affairs/business. I find writing poetry to be very effortless and flowing. I use poetry as an outlet for my thoughts.
