My Depression

February 15, 2019

Do you think of me

As much as i

Think of you?

Do you think of me

Like i think

Of you?

I don’t know

If I care

But I do know

You are invasive

You are invasive

You are effecting me

Everyday

You just pop up

Unexplained

Unexpected

You are my depression

You were the reason

For my sad poems

You were my inspiration

And i want to let go

But its like a chemical imbalance

And no matter how many pills

That i scarf down

You will still remain

Because i forget

To take my pills

But i cant forget you

Oh how badly

I want to forget you

But you were there

Through everything

You were my firsts

And i thought you'd be my last

But it is all tainted memories

You are my depression

Affecting every little bit

Of every one of my days

And I cannot escape it
