Saben Johnson

If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

6 poems·Since March 2013

My full name is Saben Michael Adam Johnson. I am a young author that loves poems, and all that they stand for. I put much of my spare time into writing poetry, and I try to create the best poems possible. Some day I hope to be publicly known as a great poet.

These Drinks

March 16, 2013
Put it in my cup I’ll gulp it all up How much each drink burns my throat I am sure to note Vodka, whiskey, moonshine, rum They all make my emotions go numb. Just give me it all, I promise I won’t fall I will just get high Way, way above the sky. I will get above my depressing emotions These drinks are special healing potions Are these drinks warding off evil, Or are they just hiding feelings that I can’t stand to reveal?
