Shandiin Gorman

If you don't learn to write your own story, someone else will write it for you

1 poem·Since April 2016

I am a freshmen at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and the Barrett’s Honors Program at Arizona State University in downtown, Phoenix. In 2020 I plan to major in broadcast journalism and minor in American Indian Studies. I graduated from Westwood High School in Mesa but was born in Flagstaff, Arizona. I have spent the majority of my life in various areas on the Navajo Nation reservation. I am a huge advocate for Native American Youth and have been involved in the community for a couple years. I love to travel, volunteer, write and learn!
