My Own Personal Psalm

January 13, 2020

Merciful one,

Hear my cries,

May I find favor in thine eyes.

May none of my words

I say be in vain,

And may I, one day, find that quoin.

I try, my God, to always do right,

But my mistakes are that of a human’s fight.

I am not the best

At controlling my rage,

But with your help,

I’ll try to channel Sage.

I am faulty, your highness,

Not near to perfection.

So if you’ll have me, GOD,

I’ll start on my reflection.
