Paranoiac

August 4, 2014

My head shakes as my heart aches.
My body is slowly breaking completely...
Why do I react like this when this has happened to me before?
My heart and soul are separating once again.
As to be expected from something heart-breaking...
So why does it hurt so bad...?
I wish I could find the answer...
Whenever I look into his soulless eyes...
So deep and always so silent...
The silence in them threatens to scream the truth.
But in a way the silence itself is deafening.
Though this little lamb is easily scared,
The lion's roar does not move me.
But why is my reaction to this...so...strange?
In truth,
Deep down,
I am frightened by the simplest things...
I may be a bit tough,
But why am I so...
So paranoid...?
