Control

April 20, 2017

You start to fall madly in love

The happiness, the smiles

It starts to change

You see him change

You overthink

thinking its your fault

You sit alone

crying over someone you thought you knew

They were the puppet master

wrapping you around thier finger

keeping you right where they want you

You'll never escape never get away

You go on back knowing the pain

Knowning the lies

Reading in between the lines

Your heart can't take no more

To be free is the dream

Wishing you walked away

Realizing your trapped

Your alone with your thoughts

thinking about how its your fault

You still see the good in them

They do no wrong

They have you under thier control

Never escaping

They play with you

Then put you back on the shelf

They use you

Throw you around

Somehow its your fault

Your overthinking and thinking

Waiting for the day you can escape

Having hope they will change

Everyday you sit on the shelf until

They takes you down and pull you around

knowing god damn well

You can't escape
