Empty Relations
feelings invested in something i thought had potential
emotions poured out cause i thought it was essential
clearly there was too many differentials
to feel maximized love so it can be beneficial
you’ve failed to recognize the effects you have on me
being so new to this with the love you failed to see
had me embrace the idea that someday we could be
united as beings conquering life’s catastrophes
but it was all in my head while you spoke your mind
you helped me realize love is worth a find
i got lost in the maze that lead to your heart confined
as you continued to move forward leaving me behind
i appreciate the fact that you opened me up inside
invigorated my emotions that in the past had died
helped me to realize I should slow down and stride
keep my feelings ajared so i can find a partner allied
